how to access science resources on the VLE
get on the internet as usual
go to http://woodchurchscience.edublogs.org
look for VLE tab across the top and click it
enter the VLE using the link
enter your network username and password
you are now in the VLE
down the left hand side is a long list
look for ‘curriculum’ and click it
look for ’science’
choose your year and the resources will display in the middle
a very important subject and one we take for granted. here’s a few links to get you started: sewage treatment, water pollution (easy guide), waste water made clear.
ensure you cover the following topics in your presentation:
screening
sedimentation
biological filters
disinfection
sludge disposal
and try to find some good photographs to illustrate your work…image search
